Ronald Jackson Turk

Ronald Jackson Turk was born on March 21, 1930 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated from Downers Grove High School in 1949; served in the US Air Force attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant and was Honorably Discharged December 1954. He attended North Central College of Naperville, Illinois where he met and married Mary Estes, of Saint John's Michigan. He graduated in 1958 and worked as an insurance adjuster for Bankers Life Insurance, until he entered Conservative Baptist Seminary of Denver, Colorado in 1965. He served as Pastor of Baptist churches of Aitkin, Minnesota, Phoenix,Arizona, and Santa Paula, California. He finished his career as Senior Deputy Probation Officer for the County of Ventura, California, with 20 years service.

He went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2025.

He left behind his wife Mary, son Mark, daughter, Lisa Wittrock, 3 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. His memorial service will be private.
