Rochelle Schreiber

March 25, 1935 – July 6, 2024

Rochelle Schreiber, born March 25th, 1935, in Brooklyn, New York died at the age of 89 on July 6th, 2024. Predeceased by her parents Lee and Mack Isaacs and husband, Avery Schreiber, she is survived by her daughter, Jenny Schreiber, son, Josh Schreiber, sister-in-law, Susan Schreiber, and was survived by her sister, Marion Vernikoff, who died two months later.

Rochelle moved to Chicago where she met the love of her life, Avery. They started a family in New York and spent a majority of their lives in California. She was an avid reader, traveler, political and community activist and psychotherapist. She will be remembered for her fighting spirit, her sharp mind and her lifelong dedication to advocating for those less fortunate.
