
Mike served four years in the United States Army in the 1960s during the Vietnam War era, including work at the Pentagon. He will be interred at the National VA Cemetery in Westwood.
Mike spent his career in television as a director of photography (cinematographer). He served as director of photography on 209 of the 210 episodes of Everybody Loves Raymond (every episode except the pilot). Over the years he also worked on 17 other series including ’Til Death, The War at Home, Men Behaving Badly, Head of the Class, and Night Court among others. Early in his career, he worked as an electrician on episodes of I Love Lucy, spanning the early days of television through modern network comedy.
Mike received four Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Cinematography for a Multi-Camera Series for his work on Everybody Loves Raymond.
He will be sorely missed by those who knew him. Gone but never forgotten...
