This is a poem I wrote about Maureen when she was still alive. I sent it to her so she did read it.

I have a friend who's somewhat like me
We get along so well that it's uncanny to see
Our likes and our dislikes just seem to mesh
And our friendship just sparkles and is always so fresh

We have so much in common which makes us unite
There's a bonding so special that you know it is right
We somehow just clicked when we me at State Farm
She's such a fun person and has plenty of charm

We discovered a link that went far beyond
Our love for animals and it gave us a bond
We both feel the same and have so much to share
Our feelings are similar that you could not compare

Although we love them all, cats are the best
Our four-legged friends always put us to the test
Cats are truly special and we're proud of the fact
That we enjoy our time with them. Yes, the benefits have been stacked

Maureen is one of the kindest people I know
She's as sweet as they get and she never says "no"
She's there for you but she does stand her ground
I admire her courage so I'm glad she's around

I wish her the best in whatever she does
Especially the animals that she truly loves
There's Chey-Chey, Button and Sweetie's there too
We all award you, Maureen, for whatever you do

My dear friend, I just learned about you passing to a better life, since I met you the first time i fell in love with your kindness and how sweet you were, and the courage you had to keep going even though you had a terrible sickness. I know you will be one of the brightest stars lighting the skies.

My contact and memories of Maureen came about through AIA. I had many occasions to speak with her in regards to business matters. She was always a very pleasant voice and did as best as I could possibly hope for to assist me. It was so apparent that she truly cared and took her responsibilities professionally. Losses like this are difficult to take. I can only hope that she has reached a peaceful place after long life on this Earth.

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do is to say goodbye to my wonderful friend who i called “My Momo.”  I loved you so much and  i always will! you made such a huge impact in my life. Knowing you and having you as my friend has been such an honor! there are very few people like you in the world! i will so miss our talks and your beautiful smile.  My heart is broken but i take comfort in knowing that you are no longer in pain. I will forever cherish our friendship and you will always be in my thoughts and in my heart! i love Momo!! Rest in Peace my dear friend.

From the moment I met Mo, we became instant friends. We would share stories of each other's journey and had lots of laughs. Mo had such an infectious laugh. I can hear it now.  I'm going to miss her stopping by desk and saying "Hi, my friend".  Mo impacted everyone who came in contact with her, with a smile that would light up a room.  May your spirit fly high, my friend! I will miss you dearly!

Met at work and hit it off! We both have tuxedo cats and became friends once we knew of each other's love for cats.  My favorite Pet Lover friend.

Still don't want to accept you're gone. You were such a light of positive energy and sweetness above all! I am truly honored to have known you and treasured and enjoyed our friendship. 
I miss you so very much! 

I hope that you are no longer in pain. I will always remember and cherish all of our moments.

Dear Mo,
It was a pleasure knowing you and working with you over the years. You always had a positive attitude and a smile on your face.  I literally never saw you upset unless maybe the Dodgers lost in the playoffs. 
You were loved by all and you will be greatly missed!  Godspeed my friend, miss you already!

My dearest Mo,  
It was such a blessing to have met you during our time together at AIA. You were such a light in everyone’s life. Where ever you went you left your sparkle. I’ll miss your quirky remarks, our conversations, the sound of your voice and your famous saying “Bless your heart.” You were kind to everyone around you and always a helping hand. You are deeply missed more than you know. I know you didn’t like to be center of attention or have “all the fuss” about you, but 
I truly hope you can see how loved you are. I am at peace knowing you are no longer in pain. Until we see each other again friend.

You will be deeply missed, and I will forever cherish the countless conversations and memories we shared. The laughter and silly jokes we enjoyed together will always bring a smile to my face. Though you’re no longer here, I take comfort knowing you are with your loved ones in a better place. Please watch over those of us still here—your family and friends. A part of you will always remain in my heart.

Hi, I am Toby FAZIO.. in 1995. I met Maureen at State Farm insurance and we became fast friends over a cat pin that I was wearing.. throughout the years we would get together to go to Bob’s big boy, then adventure to a thrift store on Magnolia Boulevard, then load up with supplies at a dollar store. Of all the friends I have ever had she was and will always be my favorite. Her departure leaves a great emptiness in my life. She was to me a soulmate.

I’ve been so blessed to have had  Maureen in my life for the past 52 years. We met in 7th grade 
I’ll never forget in junior high I was sitting at the lunch tables and she came over to talk to me and the rest is history. Since then she’s been like the sister to me  that I never had..

The kind words in Maureen’s obituary is very true about her! I am enriched that Maureen was a wonderful lifelong friend to me. She certainly had a beautiful spirit! 💐

For my friend Maureen: we have been friends for a long time! We met at the apartments where we both lived! I had a cat tree I had to get rid of and she had many cats that needed one! So I sold her the cat tree and we have been friends ever since! With our love of cats we helped each other through many occasions with our furry friends!! We also had many deep conversations about work and family even politics! Even though we had different opinions on politics we never fought! We respected each other’s opinions!! I will miss her greatly! I’ll never have another friend like her again! She’s making heaven a nicer place right now!! Love, Jodi❤️
