Magene Kathleen Corwin Lopez

Magene (Jean) Lopez, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on December 15, 2024 at the age of 94. Jean was born to Allan and Kathleen Elston in 1930. She had two brothers, Allan Vaughn and John William. Jean grew up in Texas and California, graduating from high school in Santa Ana. She attended the University of Redlands where she met and married Lowell Corwin in 1950. They had a strong and loving marriage until Lowell passed away in 2010.

Jean led an active lifestyle, golfing, skiing, and snorkeling. Jean Loved to travel and was always planning her next trip. After raising her four children, Jean began a successful career in real estate. Jeam continued to win bridge tournaments well into her 80's, earning the distinctions of Lifetime Grand Master.

After grieving the loss of Lowell, she met her second love. Jean married Mike Lopez in 2015. They spent summer in Montana with Mike's family and the remainder of the year at their home on a lake in Camarillo, CA. Jean is survived by her husband, Mile Lopez; her children, Kathleen, Bill, Carol, and Michelle; and her grandchildren, Sean, Holly, Curtis, Capri, Ian, Brad, and Dana, Jean's memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
