Although private by nature, Lielah was outwardly funny and deeply loving. She didn’t seek attention but gave her love fully and without hesitation to the people who mattered most to her.
Above all else, Lielah was a devoted mother to her son, Hawthorne, who was the center of her world. Her love for him was fierce, protective, and unwavering. Being his mom was her greatest joy and proudest role.
She was a loving wife to Joe, a cherished daughter to Parviz and Linda, and a fun and protective sister to Jahan. She showed her love quietly and consistently through thoughtfulness, loyalty, and presence.
Lielah moved to Agoura Hills, CA, in 1993, and attended Calabasas High School. She later moved to Portland, OR, and eventually made her home in Thousand Oaks with Joe and Hawthorne.
Lielah was deeply committed to helping others and dedicated much of her professional life to nonprofit work supporting disadvantaged children and families. She worked with My Stuff Bags Foundation and Violence Intervention Program, causes that reflected her compassion and belief in protecting those who need it most.
She will be remembered for her humor, her steadiness, and the profound love she gave so freely. Her beauty was reflected in everything she did.
She is deeply loved and will be forever missed.
