Keith Michael Simpson

Keith was born December 24th 1971 in Paterson New Jersey to

Ivorlyn Simpson Green and Samuel Ellis.

Keith attended St. Justin Catholic School and Hartford where he excelled in track and field .He won many awards in Long Jumping including Hartford High State championship.

He served in Navy on the USS Theodore RooseveltCVN-71 doing a tour of duty in Bosnia and subsequently in the Army

In Germany, where he met and Married Yvonne Artelt.

He then relocated back to California where he studied Psychology at the University of Phoenix obtaining BS in

Criminal Justice in 2013 and Masters in Psychology in 2015.

Keith was employed as Marriage, Family, and Child Therapist at

Aurora Vista Del Mar Psychiatric Hospital from June 2021 to present.

Outside of work he enjoyed Basketball and football Boston Celtics, and the Pittsburgh Steelers being his favorite teams. He also enjoyed traveling an activity which he shared with his partner Angela Castaneda.

Keith is survived by his mother Ivorlyn, children Deja (Conn) Jeremy and Jayme (Germany) numerous Aunts, Uncles , and cousin both in the US and abroad.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on September 6th 12pm at First Presbyterian Church 850 Ivywood Drive Oxnard CA 93030. Reception will follow at the same location.
