Gregory James Meyer

Greg Meyer, 84, passed away after a short illness on May 29, 2026 at home with his family by his side. A proud 56 year resident of Newbury Park, California, Greg was born and raised in Southern California and built a life rooted in hard work, family, and simple joys.

Greg’s career spanned 40 + years in the Southern California wholesale landscape industry. He was known for his dedication, steady work ethic, and the pride he took in developing outdoor spaces. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, creating songs on his guitar and building model train layouts. Some of his happiest moments were spent playing cards and dominos with “the guys”, and watching his grandkids playing sports. It was not uncommon to find him enjoying a quiet glass of wine in the backyard he loved so much.

He will be deeply missed by his 3 surviving children and fifteen grandchildren, who will forever carry his stories, his humor, and his memory in their hearts.
