Thomas Peter Petersen

Thom was a loving, attentive son, brother, uncle and friend with an unforgettable sense of humor. Cycling was his passion. He would bike 30 miles daily to work and on weekends. His free time was devoted to wood working and creating unique pieces for his home. When family gathered, he enjoyed cooking and grilling. We miss him dearly.

His degree in Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology and several professional certifications in real estate and business offered him a multitude of opportunities and career successes including software architecture, circuit design, real estate and home inspection. Most recently, Thom was an analog circuit designer at Get-2-Spec in Tempe AZ.

Thom was preceded by his parents Dan and Nadyne Petersen and his niece Amy Bennett. He is survived by his sisters, Susan Olson and Patricia Bennett (Terry) and his nieces/nephews, (Evan Olson, Chris Bennett, Jeffrey Bennett and Samantha Bennett).

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 11 at Desert Cross Lutheran Church, 8600 S. McClintock Dr.
