
Born on June 11, 1952, in Whitwell, Tennessee, Teresa was the daughter of Arthur and Annie Caldwell Layne. She spent her early years in Tennessee before later making her home in Connecticut and eventually Arizona. Throughout her life, she was known for her warmth, kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering love for her family.
Teresa shared a lifetime of love and partnership with her husband, Robert Charles Moles, DS, MBA. Together they were blessed with their daughter, Catherine Abigail Josef, who, along with her husband, Alex Josef, brought Teresa great pride and joy.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Robert; her daughter, Catherine Josef, and son-in-law, Alex Josef; her sisters, Carol Martin and Silvia Layne (fiancé Daniel Cox); her brother-in-law, Charles Wayne Bernard; her sister-in-law, Marie Layne; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Annie Caldwell Layne; her brother, Homer Layne; her sister, Patricia Layne Nolan; Patricia's husband, Paul Nolan; her brother-in-law, Robert Martin; and her sister-in-law, Karen Moles Bernard.
Though our hearts are heavy with her loss, Teresa will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, her gentle spirit, and the quiet strength with which she lived her life. She found joy in the people she loved and her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and in all those whose lives she touched.
