Stanley William Dekowski

Stanley William Dekowski, age 82, of Sun City West, AZ, formally of Minneapolis, MN, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017. Survived by wife, Anita, daughters Linda (Jeff) Pfaff, Nancy (Kenneth) Lerach. Grandchildren Ryan (Michelle), Tim, Jodine, Brett, Sean, Katey. Great-grandchildren Olivia, Dexter, Milo. Brother Thomas (Marilyn), Daughter in Law Laura, Sister-in-law Roberta (Haven), Brother-in-law Allen (Lesley), many nieces, nephews, family, friends and beloved cats. Preceded in death by wife Shirley, and son Mark. Stanley was born January 26, 1935, in Mpls. He loved going “up north” to his lake cabins in MN - boating, snowmobiling and hunting with family and friends. In later years, retired in AZ, he loved ATVing, creating stained glass art, playing cards with friends, and having family visit. Funeral Mass will be held on August 25th, 2017 at 10a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 19002 N 128th Ave, Sun City West, AZ. Private interment National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Dunwoody Technical College, 818 Dunwoody Blvd, Mpls, MN 55403
