He is survived by his loving partner Lynn Jahnke of 20 years. Also, by his brother Robert Senger, sister-in-law Gayle Senger, nephew Colton Senger, niece Sheridan Senger, and stepmother Emma Senger, all reside in California.
Stan was preceded in death by his mother Mary Kraft, father Edward Senger and youngest brother Jeffrey Senger.
Stan was born in Anaheim, California. He graduated from St. Anthony’s High School, where he was an altar boy and played basketball. How could he not play basketball when he grew to be 6’7”?
Stan, along with his two brothers Rob and Jeff, kept his mother Mary quite busy with three very mischievous boys. His father Ed taught him all there was to know about cars, any kind of mechanical fix it’s that you could think of, and how to cook.
He went to work for California Marine & Supply as a stock boy at the age of 18. After a few years, the owner Tim Brown decided to relocate to Flagstaff, Arizona, where Stan followed and continued to live and work as General Manager for 32 years.
Through those years Stan met Lynn Jahnke on match.com. They were together for 20 years. In July 2023, they purchased a home in Tempe and brought Pat Reinfried, Lynn’s Mom, to live with them.
Stan recently worked at Western Switches & Controls. He enjoyed his job and life together in their new home.
Stan was a jovial, caring and kind man. He would do anything for anybody. His passions were sports, primarily basketball and football. He was a Lakers fan. Loved anything do with cars – antiques cars, how to fix cars or attend car shows. Also, enjoyed watching the Expedition Unknown and home fixer upper shows religiously.
