She was born on August 31, 1939, in Pacoima, California, to Mr. Lee Barbosa and Mrs. Bernadine Estrada.
Ramona's childhood was marked by the challenges of growing up during the Great Depression. She took on the responsibility of caring for her siblings while her father worked long days in the fields. Ramona occasionally helped him with the labor as well. At a young age, she became a mother, facing the struggles of raising her first child as a teenager. Despite these challenges, she followed her father's hardworking example, dedicating herself to her three sons and becoming an active member of her church.
In 1975, Ramona decided to pursue her education and went back to obtain her High School Diploma while working a full-time job and raising her three children.
Ramona will be remembered for her dedication to family, her unwavering work ethic, and her involvement in the community. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that will be cherished by all who knew her.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 NIV
13” Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.”
Matthew 5:4 NIV
4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”
John 14:1-14 NIV
14 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”
