Monty Douglass Reuling, 62, of Gilbert, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on August 30, 2024. Monty was born in Washington, D.C., and spent his early years in Fountain Valley, California. His family relocated to the Bay Area of California, where he spent the rest of his childhood, and later became a parent to his two beloved daughters, Brittany Farley and Regan Reuling. Monty then moved his family to Frisco, Texas where his love of BBQ and Tex-Mex flourished.
Monty was an avid sports enthusiast. In his younger years, he loved to play baseball, and later enjoyed sharing his passion for watching sports with family and friends. He was also a lover of movies and TV shows, always excited to share what he was watching with his daughters and family, creating lasting memories through their conversations and shared experiences.
Monty was a kind-hearted man with a gentle spirit. He always wanted the best for everyone around him and made every holiday and moment together feel truly special.
He is survived by his father, Pete Reuling, his daughters Brittany and Regan, his sisters Renee, Cassandra, and Alexa, and his brothers Peter and Michael. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon.
Monty's legacy of kindness, humor, and love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him. His family invites you to celebrate his life and his passions in a memorial service to be held at a baseball field, honoring his lifelong love for the game.
