Monica Bridget Yates

Monica Yates (nee Mooney) - 78 - Died on Saturday, May 27, 2017, after a brief illness. She retired from American Airlines after 30 years of service and settled in Sedona AZ, where she has been a resident for the past 19 years. Monica volunteered briefly at the Sedona Chamber of Commerce and spent most of her retirement years as a seamstress. Monica is preceded in death by her father, Frances J. Mooney; mother, Marie J. (Borrelli) Mooney; and sister, Bernadette O'Brien. She is survived by her children: Ron Yates of Sedona AZ, Deborah (Courtney) French of Jacksonville FL, and Jennifer (Belynda Greene) Yates of Sedona AZ; grandchildren J'net (Ryan) Weber of Stuart FL and Joseph Rinella IV of Akron OH; and great grandson, Tristan Weber. She is also survived by 5 brothers and 3 sisters, as well as multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. There will be no funeral or memorial service. Her cremation is being handled by Neptune Society. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local animal shelter.
