Michael David Pearlstein

Michael David Pearlstein, 69, passed away on July 20, 2026. He was born on June 28, 1957, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Robert and Lee Pearlstein. Over the years, he lived in Massachusetts, Texas, and Arizona, eventually making Arizona his home for the last 21 years.

Michael spent his childhood in Hull and Brockton. He had fond memories of Nantasket Beach, where he would go clamming with his mother. Paragon Park was another place he remembered fondly. His Jewish heritage remained part of his identity throughout his life.

Michael was a private person who didn’t always share every part of himself openly. Those who knew him remember him as kind, genuine, and thoughtful. He cared deeply and continued trying to become a better person. He was very organized and tidy, liked to keep things in order, and took pride in doing things carefully.

Michael enjoyed the Red Sox and Fenway Park. He had several Red Sox hats and held onto an old game ticket for years.

Much of Michael’s career was spent in printing, operations, customer service, and management. He spent many years with AlphaGraphics, working in customer relations, sales, operations, and franchise training before becoming a franchise owner and managing partner. He also held management positions with Kinko’s, Sir Speedy, Circle K, and other companies. For more than six years, he worked with Canon at the copy and print center at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.

Michael was dependable, detail-oriented, and took his work seriously. Throughout his career, he held roles where others trusted him to lead, solve problems, and keep things running smoothly. That drive remained with him throughout his later years. At Midwestern University, he preferred an early start and often arrived by 3:30 in the morning.

Michael is survived by his sons, Joseph Pearlstein and Michael Pearlstein, and his younger brother, Daniel Pearlstein. He was preceded in death by his sister, Judy, who passed away about eight months prior.

His sons are proud of the man he was and grateful for the parts of himself he shared with them. Those who knew Michael will remember his kindness, his work ethic, his quiet nature, and his desire to keep growing as a person. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
