It is with great sadness that the family of Mary V. Hertwig announces her passing on Friday, September 14, 2018, at the age of 73 due to complications from Parkinson's disease. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her soulmate, Peter Hunt, her two daughters, Christy Smith (Rick) and Sheri Bakunowski (Steve), her two grandchildren, Shannon Monge (Jorge) and Stephen Bakunowski, and her five great-grandchildren, Jorge, Charlee, Edward, Isaac, and Aurora. Mary will also be forever remembered by her extended family and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, you can make donations in memory of Mary to the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrows Neurological Center in Phoenix, AZ or the Arizona Humane Society.
