Marcello Price Soliven of Glendale, AZ passed away on April 6, 2018 at age 70 years of age. Marcello was born on April 8, 1947 and would have celebrated his 71th birthday two days after his passing. Marcello was born in San Francisco, CA and spent most his adult life in San Jose, CA and Glendale, AZ.
Marcello enjoyed playing piano, keyboard, drums as well as writing composing music, poetry, performing jazz music as well as the classic songs of the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. As an Electronic Component Design Engineer his work included significant contributions to today’s modern electronic devices and technology. He was born with love for technology, science, music and global exploration. His love of travel exposed him to the far corners of the Earth making new friends and learning languages during his visits to South Korea, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Singapore, France, New Zealand and Scotland, just to name a few. Where ever he was traveling or on the Ham Radio having a Ham Radio friend in Tokyo or Australia wasn’t uncommon.
Marcello is survived by his Brother, Dennis Benito Soliven of San Jose, CA; daughter Sabrina Watson Quinn of Scottsdale, AZ; son Garett Rosendo Soliven of Peoria, AZ; granddaughters Vanessa Morgan Corfield and Onyx Taylor Soliven, Kira Soliven and Jayde Soliven; stepchildren Kevin Hornsby and Ashley Horne; niece and nephews; Jeff Soliven, Brandi Salvatori, Sheila De Loza, Tanya Schoonover and Trina Soliven.
