Kenneth Erickson, a true renaissance man, passed away on May 11 in Mesa, AZ at the age of 91 after a brief illness. He was born on December 2, 1931, in Denver, Colorado. After graduating from Westminster High School, Kenneth married his beloved wife, Jacqueline, with whom he recently celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary.
Kenneth's passion for flying led him to serve in the U.S. Air Force and later become a Captain for the original Frontier Airlines. He was also a skilled sailor, artist, sportsman, traveler, amateur radio operator, and a student of the American West. Kenneth was a talented musician, playing both the blues guitar and ukulele.
Kenneth will be remembered as a warm and loving father, husband, friend, and neighbor. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline, brother Harold, son William (Mercedes), daughter Susan (Dale Stout), six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Kenneth's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.--
