December 16, 1942 – April 11, 2023
Kenneth Miller, Ken, Daniel passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 11, 2023, in Kingman, Arizona. Born December 16, 1942, Ken was second son of William and Ruth Daniel, in Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Ken led a full and adventurous life. Growing up in a military family, he lived in Germany and Japan in post war years. He spent his college years in Japan and New Mexico, graduating from Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico. He settled in Southern California where he worked for the City of Los Angeles and taught middle school, eventually retiring to Kingman, Arizona. Ken loved his outdoor activities, which included swimming, scuba, snow-skiing and biking. He was proud of his National Ski Patrol membership. As an avid road biker and motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoyed many cross-country trips and rides throughout the southwest, Mexico and Deep South.
Most importantly was Ken’s gregarious and curious nature. He made friends easily and Kingman was no exception, where he leaves many friends and good memories.
Ken is predeceased by his parents, brothers Gerald (Jerry) Daniel and William (Pat) Daniel, and brother-in-law, Dana. He is survived by his sister, Leslie Arnold, sister-in-law Jackie Daniel, and a host of nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews, and a special family friend, Joanne Garvey.
We will all remember Ken and his smile.
