John Michael Adams

Michael was born in Los Angeles, CA, on Saturday January 23, 1971 to John and Arlene Grove Adams. He grew up in Ventura County. Graduated from Newbury Park High School in 1989. Michael spent most of his adult life in San Jose, CA and Tempe, AZ.

It is not news to anyone who knew Mike, that music and art were his life's passion. In the last few years of his life Mike was able to combine these two passions and create his own business, framing rock art.

Mike's other passions included hiking, reading, football, tennis, the Los Angeles Dodgers and doting on his beloved pup Maggie.

Mike had a zest for life, an ease for making friends, entertaining the masses and making all those in his presence feel comfortable. He was a big man with a big heart and a big personality.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene. He is survived by his father, John of Thousand Oaks, CA; his sister, Allison, brother in law, Randall and his 2 nephews, Julian and Drake, all of San Francisco; his daughter/dog Maggie of Tempe, AZ; and his former wife, Susan Lojewski Adams of San Jose, CA. He will also be missed by his cousins in California and Illinois and his many blues rock friends all across the country.

Mike's ashes were scattered off the coast of Santa Barbara, CA, on July 5th 2023. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. His family wishes to thank Mike's many friends in Tempe for their support during this difficult time.

So when you are all missing Mike, put on some music and find him.
