James Lewis Ships

James found his calling when he enlisted into the USAF in 1974 to serve his country. He lived his life loving everyone around him, both good and bad. He helped whomever he could at any cost.

God decided to call him home on March 25, 2019 at the age of 65.

James Lewis Ships, also known as James Earl, had fifteen siblings. His seven sisters: Ommie Lee Scott Taylor, Deloris Scott Price, Ollie Mae Scott, Sharon Scott, Johnny Mae Scott, Linda Hudson (deceased), and Diane Hudson; and eight brothers: James Jr. Scott (deceased), Anthony Lewis Scott (deceased), Eddie Jean Scott (deceased), Willie B. Scott, Robert Scott, Eddie Scott, Prince Hudson, and Larry Hudson. James had two children: Ora Belinda Ships and Kendall Jermaine Ships. He had five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

James will be missed , but never forgotten.
