“Marvin”, as he was known by his friends and family, was born on March 17, (St. Patrick’s Day) 1924 in House, New Mexico. He was the third of seven children. Shortly after Marvin graduated high school, the attack on Pearl Harbor led to World War II. Marvin joined the Merchant Marines and became a purser on board of ship and even though there were many dangers, he loved being in different ports and seeing the world.
He attended The University of New Mexico in Albuquerque where he met and married Meredith Kirkpatrick on July 14, 1949. They had three beautiful daughters, Jan, Kathie and Tami.
Marvin dedicated his life to the Lord, and worked as a minister for 31 years. He also had a career as a probation officer at the San Bernardino County probation department.
Marvin was preceded in death by his mother, father, his brothers Owen, Melvin, and Donald, his sisters Edith and Ola Mae, and his daughter Kathie.
Marvin is survived by his wife of 70 years, Meredith Morrow, his two daughters, Jan Wade and Tami Reid, his four grandchildren, Amber Inman, Sierra Henderson, Taryn Reid, and Ryan Reid, his two great-grandchildren, Parker Inman and Chase Inman, and his brother, Dennis Morrow.
He will forever be remembered for his commitment to the teachings of Christ, his wit, and his love for his family.
A celebration of his life will be held on September 28, 2019, in Prescott, Arizona where his family will honor his memory.
