Graduated from St. Rita High School in Detroit, MI in 1952. He started his Engineering career at Briggs Manufacturing as an apprentice before getting a job at General Motors, Fisher Body Division. He enjoyed a long career at Chrysler as a Die Designer, Manufacturing Controls Engineer and Supervisor. He retired 1989 after 37 years.
He also obtained 3 Associate Degrees (Electrical Technology, Hydraulic Technology and Sheet Metal Forming (for automotive body panels) from Macomb County Community College in Warren, Michigan.
He served in the Michigan National Guard, 1952 to 1963 as a Master Sergeant E7.
He was actively involved in The Knights of Columbus, The American Legion Post 58, The Fountain Hills Museum, The Republican Club (as Treasurer), Chamber of Commerce and the Law Enforcement Advisory Panel.
Loved father and father-in-law of Glenn and Kathy Denomme, Nancy and Mark Limback, John and Joanne Denomme. Grandfather to Erin Kish (Sean Fitzgerel), Matthew Limback (Julia), Michael Denomme (Megan) and Nicolas Limback (Ashley). Great Grandfather to Madeleine, Oliver, Nora, Gwendolyn, Lyla, Charlotte.He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins
Preceded in death by his wife, our loving mother, Madeline (Rau). Also, from his second marriage, Arlie Berry.
Dad enjoyed spending time at his cottage with family and enjoying the lake. He could also be found at the American Legion Post 58 playing Euchre and running Bingo.
The family would like to thank our cousins, Jim, Dawn, Robbie and Greg Trudeau for the care and compassion they showed our Dad.
Family and friends are invited to attend a mass at The Church of the Ascension, Fountain Hills, AZ on March 31, 2023 at 10:00am and a luncheon at the Parish Hall immediately following the service.
Burial to follow at St Peter's Catholic Church in Zurich, Ontario, Canada with Madeline at a date to be determined.
