The key word ‘kind’. There will not be a single person that met him. That would have a bad word to say about him. Truly a kind and upbeat man at all times. I couldn’t have asked for a better father in law.
His two biggest joys in his life was aeronautics and his daughters, Karen and Trina. He adored his daughters and very protective of them. Right after high school he joined the Air Force. Wanted to be a pilot, but his eyesight prevented that. So he found a way to be around planes as much as he could. After his career in the Air Force. He picked up a hobby of remote controlled airplanes. It didn’t take him long to have his own little squadron of planes. Several still hang from the garage ceiling. When he turned 70 & 75. He took to sky diving to celebrate those milestones. Think if he did that in his early years. There would have been many more jumps on his resume.
He met his wife, Chris while stationed in Germany. They were married for 66 years. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, a grandson Adam and great-grandson Julian.
No longer constrained by gravity. George has taken flight once more.
