Gary Glen Mulleneaux of San Tan Valley, Arizona, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the age of 75 years old. They were born in Glendale, Los Angeles, in California where they grew up until 1956 when Gary and his family moved to Phoenix, Arizona.
They graduated from Maryvale High School in 1965. Gary enjoyed playing football, baseball, and wrestling.
They served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the British South Mission from 1966 to 1968. Gary returned to Phoenix and in 1968 he joined the Phoenix Police Department.
He married Francine Cardon, and they had two children, Nicole and Jean-Jacques Mulleneaux.
Gary retired from the Phoenix Police Department as the sergeant of the Motor Squad in 1988. He married Constance Lahr in 1987 and they had triplets, Audra, Austin, and Catherine Mulleneaux in 1990.
Gary moved his family to Rochester, Minnesota, in 1994. He worked for the Rochester Police Department as the Communications Manager for 22 years. Gary and Connie have been living in Arizona since 2018.
They were actively involved in Boy’s Club of Phoenix, AZ while on the Phoenix Police Dept. He loved sports and played softball for many years. In 1978, he co-founded the Arizona Police Olympics and Arizona Police Athletic Association with Roger Larm. Gary served as the President of the International Police Olympics and traveled the world promoting police sporting events until 1988.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Grant and Ruth (Salter) Mulleneaux.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 2:00 pm. All are welcome to the service and reception following the service.
