Frederick George Haubold

Frederick (Fred) George Haubold, of Sun Lakes, Arizona passed away peacefully at home Friday, December 23, 2016 at the age of 82. Fred was preceded in death by his first wife, Elaine Marie (Foust) Haubold and is survived by his beloved wife, Cynthia Constance (Bieniek) Haubold. Loving father of Anne (Robb) Glenny of Seattle WA, Beth (Brian) Kasson of Cincinnati, OH, Fred (Bridget) Haubold of Cary, NC, and Peter (Cynthia) Haubold of Larkspur, CA. Proud grandfather of Elaine, William and Colin (Glenny), Matthew, Lucas and Conner (Kasson), Kelly and Colleen (Haubold) and Jack and Max (Haubold). Fred was born in New Jersey and graduated from St. Peter’s Preparatory School, Jersey City, NJ. He then earned his bachelors and masters degrees in engineering from Purdue University and his MBA from Michigan State University. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Corps of Engineers and had a successful career with the General Motors Corporation spanning over 35 years. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley, www.hov.org/donate. At the family’s request, services will be held at a later date in Detroit MI.
