Felix graduated from Xavier University with a BS and MA degrees. He retired as a teacher and Principal from the Orleans Parish School System.

Sergeant Major Provost was a veteran of the Korean War, and was honorably retired from the 377th

USAR Command, New Orleans, La.

He is survived by his five children, Elizabeth Guzman, David Provost, Susan Provost, Cynthia Provost, and Catherine Provost. Two sisters Dorothy Ostrand and Mary Patin. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his beloved wife Charlotte B. Provost.

He was a very active parishioner of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. He

served on the Vestry, was a lecturer and Eucharistic Minister for many years.

A private service will be held in New Orleans, La.
