Elizabeth Rose Sloan passed away on June 19, 2017. She was born August 13, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer G. Sloan, a marriage of over 68 years. Survived by three children, Peggy McElhanon of San Antonio, TX., James Sloan of Newport News, VA., and Byron Sloan of Mesa, AZ., two grandchildren, Robin Heikkinen of San Antonio, TX., and Matthew Sloan of Fairview Park, OH., and 10 great grand-children. Betty is survived by her sister Viva Stieber of Livonia, MI. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her!
