Donald Hugh Hosmer 1938 – 2017 Donald H. Hosmer, 79, of Phoenix, passed surrounded by his family at home in the early morning of Sunday, April 16, 2017. Donald was born in Oakland, CA, the eldest of two children, to Marjorie and Hugh Hosmer. He had a successful 30 year career as an ironworker with Local #377 Union. After his retirement, he moved from the San Francisco Bay Area to Arizona, and was a resident for 23 years. In Arizona, he worked at the Cave Creek Unified School District as an Aide helping transport handicap children for 10 years. He loved all living creatures, and his dog, Jill. Once in Arizona, he was hooked on the Arizona wildlife. He was deeply loved by his family and friends, and words cannot express how much we will all miss him.
