Eshima, Dennis 1953 – 2017 Eshima, Dennis 64 Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on August 7, 2017. Dennis was born in Wattsonville, California on July 14, 1953. His life was full of numerous academic achievements and successful business ventures. He was the principal owner of Biotech Cyclotron and has authored or co-authored 48 refereed journal articles, 14 books/book chapters, 114 refereed abstracts, and is listed as an inventor on 4 patents. He has served on many local, university and national committees including the Board of Directors for the Society of Nuclear Medicine Radiopharmaceutical Sciences Council. He most recently started a company, EC2 Software Solutions with his partners, Leroy and Scott, who Dennis considered family. He experienced the best working years of his life in collaboration with them. Dr. Dennis Eshima passed away from complications after battling cancer for the past 9 years. He was a gentle, kind, and devoted father, husband and friend to so many. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn Michael-Eshima, brother, Duane Eshima, niece, Azaria Eshima, sister, Carole Eshima, mother, Shigeko Eshima, three sons, Jarrett, Erik, and Grayson Eshima and three step-children, Alexander Michael, Jennabel, and Anna Leeza Pichnarcik. He was preceded in the passing of his father, Noubo Eshima and daughter, Caitlin Eshima. Dennis will always be remembered in his joyous laughter and great love for his family and friends. Dennis, enter into the light, which is the basic wisdom and clarity of your own mind. We love you. Services will be held Saturday August 12 at 4142 West Claredon Ave, The Arizona Buddhist Temple, 10 a.m. All donations will be sent to the Cancer Research Society.
