Charles Scott Grindle

Charles Scott Grindle “Scott” of Gilbert, Arizona passed away on September 10,2024 at the age of 64. He was born on September 25,1959 in Selma, Alabama where he grew up in a family of 5 siblings (2 sisters and 3 brothers).

Charles graduated from Dallas County High School in Selma Alabama in 1977.

He worked as Store Manager of several stores including Fred's, CVS, and Leslie Pool Supplies.

He was actively involved in watching Alabama football, helping with Wednesday night dinners at his church, and teaching Sunday school.

He is preceded in death by his parents Roland Grindle Jr. (Sonny) and Evelyn Henry Grindle (Nikki).

Charles is survived by his wife Janice Compton Grindle, Daughter Donna Lynn Grindle, Son Jonathan Scott Grindle and Grandpuppies Mollie, Elphaba, Gatsbee, Angel, and Grandkitty Luckie.

The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at First Baptist Church of Demopolis in Demopolis, Alabama on November 16, 2024 at 2pm.
