Barbara Nell Depert

Barbara Nell Depert of Chandler, AZ passed away on January 1, 2025 at the age of 81. She was born on October 22, 1943 in Gary, IN. She spent her childhood years in Richmond, IN. Her love of Texas was ignited when she moved there in the 70’s with her family. Arizona became her next love in the 80’s where she spent the rest of her life enjoying the warm, sunny desert.

Barbara was actively involved in Bible Study Fellowship and teaching kids about Jesus through the local church. She had a great love of music and led music appreciation groups in many different venues.

She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Lois Brown and her husband Steve Depert.

She is survived by her children David Rader, Patty Williams and Chris Orvis. She also had grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

The family would like to thank Desert Valley Hospice and Christina Wolforth, FNP, of Senior Doc, for the care and compassion they showed Barbara in her final days.
