William Elmo Arnold Jr.

William E. Arnold, Jr, age 91 passed away at his home on Friday, October 17, 2025. He was born in Macon, GA, November 3, 1933. His family moved to Florida settling around the Gainesville area, and he later settled in Tallahassee. Bill finished high school and joined the Army, then later married and had four children. He worked for Florida Power for 20 years and retired with the State after 12 years.

He was a Mason, a member of N. FL Woodturners, and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

He is survived by his three sons, Billy Arnold, Wendall Arnold, Erik Arnold, and daughter, Laveta Arnold. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Ann DePasture, and many grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Jewel Arnold, his beloved wife, Carolyn Arnold; and his grandson, Peter Arnold.

A Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 29th, 11:00 AM, at Immanuel Baptist Church, 2351 Mahan Drive, Tallahassee, FL.
