Tom was born in Chicago on 23 November, 1936 and was the eldest of the four children of Mable (Trettien) and Floyd Edwards.
He is survived by his Brother Floyd Phillip Edwards (Lois), Sisters Sara Sue Berg (Ted) and Sandra Helen Edwards. Additionally, he is survived by Nephews Kevin Edwards (Jeannie), Eric Berg (Dawn), Nieces Kimberely Escalle (Robert), Lisa Barresi (Rob), Kelly Pottle (Jason) and several grand nephews, grand-nieces and a great grand-nephew and a great grand-niece.
Tom's adventure with life took him from Chicago to the Navy's 7th Fleet, to the University of Illinois (BSEE) and finally to Colorado as an Engineering Supervisor for Western Electric for 32 years.
A celebration of life will be held at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church of Panama City Beach on 31 May, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. Interment at a later date will be at the RYSBBY Cemetery in Longmont Colorado.
