Sandra J. Beaudin

Sandra Jane Beaudin (Sandy) of Tallahassee Florida passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at the age of eighty-two. She was born on May 16, 1943 in Montpelier Vermont where she grew up and attended school. She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1962.

She worked as a Retail Sales Clerk when she lived in Vermont and Michigan. She also performed volunteer work at the hospital in Worcester Massachusetts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Laura Whitehead, her sister, Roberta Davis and her brother, Robert Whitehead Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Roma Beaudin. Her sons, Eric Hanson (Erika), Neil Hanson (Stephanie), Christopher Hanson (Ingrid) and Chad Beaudin (Sherry), eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren, brother-in-law Wesley Davis, sister-in-law Francine Whitehead and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sandy enjoyed family and friends as they were very important to her. Family and friends gathering for celebration and food gave her great comfort and enjoyment. Sandy enjoyed various arts and crafts during her adult life. She also enjoyed the oldies rock and roll music and you could hear Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons blaring away down the street on house cleaning day. She still could “cut the rug” even on the initial onset of her dementia disease. Sandy fought this disease for the last twelve plus years of her life and was very grateful for the care given to her.

The family would like to thank The Gables Memory Care facility and Big Bend Hospice for the care and compassion they showed Sandy in her final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at 1:00 pm on June 13, 2026 at Mutuo Inc., 20 Beckley Street, Barre, VT 05641.

Interment for her and her buddy “Bo Bear” will be at 11:00 AM, June 13, 2026 at Brookhaven Cemetery, Route 302, Orange, Vermont
