

Robert Norman Meeks, born on April 2, 1942, in Kendall, Florida and lived the majority of his life in Middleburg, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025, in Sopchoppy, Florida, where he currently resided.
Robert dedicated his life to the construction industry, building not just structures but also a legacy of hard work and integrity. Outside of work, he found joy in the great outdoors, particularly in hunting and fishing, passions that brought him closer to nature and to those he loved.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Beverly Bingenheimer Meeks. Together, they built a family filled with love and cherished memories. Robert is also survived by his son, Robert P. Meeks (Rhonda), and his daughter, Melissa M. Davis (Jeffrey). His grandchildren, Alexandria R. Meeks, Russell P. Meeks, Cierra C. Meeks, Kendall G. Meeks, Cassidy L. Davis, and Robert S. Davis (Scotty), along with his great-grandchildren, Mason Hendricks, Willow Hendricks, Reed Hendricks, and Haven Collins, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Robert's siblings, Harris F. Meeks (Martha), Thomas R. Meeks (Joyce), Annette Meeks Kendrick (Dale), Darlene Renfroe (Robert Buell), and Sharlene Marconi, also mourn his passing and celebrate the life of their dear brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Harris Meeks and Bonita Rosemarie Swengel, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 16, 2025, at the Thrasher-Horne Center, located at 283 College Drive, Orange Park, Florida 32065. The event will begin at 3:30 PM and conclude at 7:00 PM.
Robert Norman Meeks will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his work, and his passions. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
