Margaret Diane Koch

Margaret Diane Koch of Saint Petersburg, Florida passed away on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025 at the age of 87. She was born on July 18, 1937 in Beechhurst, NY where she grew up the only child of Margaret and John Kastner.

She graduated from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA.

She worked as a homemaker and loving wife and mother.

She was actively involved in her Boca Ciega community where she enjoyed playing tennis and golf and more recently cards, mahjong and bingo. She loved her Boca Family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Carl S. Koch.

She is survived by her two daughters, Nancy Hansen (John) and Patty McCarthy (Rich) and five grandchildren, Margaret Gallagher (Edward), Lauren Gabrick (Kyle), Jack Hansen (Nicole), Thomas McCarthy and Peter McCarthy; brother-in-law Stephen Koch (Jean); nieces Kim DiDomizio (Peter) and Suzanne Fabrizio (Fabrizio); and dear cousins Lee Herrick, Tisha Conklin, Jim Martin (Vickie), Jane Steinmetz (John) and John Martin (Linda). She was joyfully anticipating the birth of her first three great grandchildren.

Diane was always quick-witted, happy to help and enjoyed sharing a laugh with friends. She was a feisty lady right until the end.
