Marcy Lee Khan

Marcy was born on March 20, 1952 in Vineland, New Jersey to Franklin B. And Lillian S. (both deceased). She grew up in Philadelphia and was a proud graduate of Bartram High School. She was an employee of the Florida State University Foundation for the past 13 years.

Marcy loved the outdoors and was happy when she could pitch her tent and camp. She also loved to read, travel and listen to music. The beach was one of her favorite destinations to kick off her shoes, relax and just enjoy the sand. She was a faithful and devoted member of Covenant Church in Tallahassee, FL.

Marcy is survived by her two daughters, Yasmin L. Khan of Wasilla, Alaska; Naureen L. Khan of Tallahassee, FL. and her most precious granddaughter Star L. Khan also of Tallahassee. She is also survived by her stepmother Eleanor D. Nessel; brother Dominic J. DiPaola both of Pennsylvania; aunts Anna Eckbold and Lee Quay both of New Jersey; sister-cousin Deborah Bear of Florida and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at Covenant Church, 2221 Old Bainbridge Road, Tallahassee FL 32303 on Saturday April 28, 2018 at 4:00 pm with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Yasmin Khan and mailed to Covenant Church.

Although Marcy was taken from us suddenly, we are comforted in the fact that she was a faithful servant of the Lord and that we have our cherished memories of her forever in our hearts and souls.
