

Lester Knox Coleman III, 77, passed away in Tallahassee, Florida on August 15, 2021. Originally from Pensacola, Lester was an avid journalist and media enthusiast with a penchant for traveling. He lived most of his life traveling the world, fulfilling investigative journalism and radio broadcasting opportunities.
Most notably, he is a recipient of a regional Emmy award for his investigative journalism work in the greater Boston area. He also dedicated much of his professional career to following the events of the Beirut War in Lebanon. He is a published author of two books.
After living in the Middle East, Europe, and many major American cities, he retired to Tallahassee where he enjoyed listening to blues music and eating oysters. He is survived by his wife, Marie-Claude Coleman, as well as his five children. He is predeceased by his parents, Lester Knox II and Marjorie Coleman.
