Leslie Milton Bassett

Les was born on June 19, 1931 in Afton, Wyoming.

His hobbies included anything he could with a chainsaw! One of his favorite past times was teaching and working with the youth. He also loved motorcycles, cars, telling stories, and helping anyone in need.

Les will always be remembered for his happy smile and boyish charm. Nobody felt uncomfortable in his presence. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Les is survived by his loving wife, Leslie Jean Bassett "Partner," children: Alisha (Chuck) Robb, Amy (Daniel) Baldwin, Jared (Tana) Bassett, and Brandon (Megan) Bassett, his sister, Judy Bassett, 13 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will lay him to rest at a Private Military service at Barrancas Cemetery in Pensacola, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to your favorite Veterans' organization in his honor.
