

Larry Abruzzo, a lifelong Angeleno with an adventurous spirit and a camera always close at hand, passed away on August 9, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on November 18, 1954, in Los Angeles, Larry spent his life in the city he loved, surrounded by the vibrant energy of Southern California.
Those who knew Larry will remember his adventurous spirit, his love of travel, and the joy he found in meeting people and experiencing new places. He believed life was meant to be explored, both near and far, and he carried that sense of discovery with him every day. Photography was more than a hobby for him; it was a passion that allowed him to capture the world through his unique lens. Whether documenting everyday moments or scenic vistas from his many road trips, Larry found joy in preserving memories and sharing them with others.
Larry is survived by his daughters, Breanna and Lauren Abruzzo, and by his siblings—Yolanda Acuna, Alma Delgado, Irma Contreras, Romeo Gallegos, Joe Abruzzo, and Danny Abruzzo. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Julietta Abruzzo.
