Judith Elizabeth Brown passed away on January 23, 2026, at the age of 77. She was born on March 23, 1948, in Nyack, New York and lived in the city of Suffern, where she graduated from Spring Valley High School.
After moving to Florida she went to college to become a registered nurse. She was able to do nursing in many different areas and ended her long nursing career working in Clinical Research. She was actively involved in volunteering and found a second home with her church, Sopchoppy United Methodist. She loved her life which was filled with family, friends, crazy chickens and her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Adele McCracken and her brother Bruce McCracken.
She is survived by her children Erika Marks, Shannon Patnaude and Joseph Patnaude. Her son in law Robert Marks and daughter in law Kimberly Patnaude. Her beloved grandchildren Tiger Davis, Jace Patnaude, Austin Drake and Ali Drake. Her longtime partner Douglas “Mike” Jones and her sister Barbara Parco.
The family would like to thank all her wonderful friends for the happiness and joy that they brought to Judy’s life and the compassion that they showed at the end of it.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Sopchoppy United Methodist Church on February 19, 2026 at 11:30am with a reception following. Visitation with the family will begin at 11:00am.
