James Stephen Shelton

He was a Naval veteran . He worked for 35 years in Commercial Fire Sprinkler Installation.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Glendon H Shelton Sr; Mother, Marylou Carswell Shelton; and Brother, Glendon H Shelton Jr.

He is survived by his Spouse, Debra Burnum; Sister, Carol Davis; Stepchildren, Tara Nash (Jason) & Shaun Burnum; Niece, Bonnie Ditterline; Great-Nephew, Elias Ditterline; Great-Niece, Lyra Ditterline; Sister-in-Law, Lori Shelton, as well as many cousins and friends.

The family would like to thank the nurses, aids and volunteers of Big Bend Hospice Inpatient Care located in TMH for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in his final days.

There is no service planned at this time per Steve’s wishes.
