Jacqueline H Lowe

Jacqueline Hanakaulani Lowe, born on March 7, 1941, in Honolulu, Hawaii, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, on August 30, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy of profound love, deep faith, and a lifetime of beautiful adventures.

Jacqueline’s childhood was a tapestry of island life and travel across the United States, following her father’s service as a Navy Seabee. Her life’s greatest love story began early; she first crossed paths with her soulmate, David, in junior high school. In a beautiful twist of fate, the two reconnected years later when destiny brought them both to Guam, where her father and David were stationed for the US Navy. They wed in 1961, embarking on a beautiful 53-year journey together. From Guam and Hawaii to California, Colorado, and finally retirement in Florida, Jacque and Dave filled every home they made with the spirit of aloha and plenty of laughter.

A woman of steadfast faith, Jacqueline was a member of Christ Church Anglican in Crawfordville, Florida. She possessed an extraordinary heart for all living things and was a passionate animal lover. Though she wasn't blessed with human grandchildren, Jacqueline adored her beloved grand-dog and grand-cat, proudly passing down her deep love and compassion for animals to her children.

Jacqueline is now joyfully reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, David Lowe; her parents, Audrey Aloie and Richard Lund; her sister, Geraldine Puanani Davis; her twin brother, who passed away at birth; and the many aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.

Her spirit lives on in her adoring children, Richard Shawn Lowe and Andrea Kealoha “Kele” Lowe; her cherished grand-dog, Cody “Bear Bear”; and her grand-cat, Kapiolani “Kapi”. She is also lovingly remembered by her hanai sister, Margo Sexton; her sisters-in-law, Judith Flynn and Janet Bell; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In a fitting tribute to a beautiful life and her cherished culture, Jacqueline’s ashes will be scattered alongside David’s in her beloved Hawaii.
