

Jack was a dedicated professional, having begun his career with ATT in 1965. He retired in 2012 after a long and successful tenure. Following his retirement, he moved from Nashville, Tennessee, to Live Oak, Florida, where he enjoyed the past 10 years. Jack also served his country with distinction in the Army-Ra-INF at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, from January 1961 to 1964, achieving the rank of Sergeant.
He was the beloved husband of Susan Bordwine for 27 years and was formerly married to Charlene Clark Bordwine. Jack was the son of the late Jack S. Bordwine Sr. and Ann Thomas Bordwine. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Brian Scott Bordwine, and his stepchildren, Michael Herd and his wife Lindsay, and Merry Clifton and her husband Kevin. He was a proud grandfather to four grandchildren. Jack's sister, Joann Fullen, preceded him in death.
A celebration of Jack's life will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Clayland Baptist Church rec. center, 11409 193rd Road, Live Oak, FL 32060. A luncheon will follow the service.
Jack will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his country, and his profession.
