Eileen Byrne-Halczyn of Crawfordville passed away on January 13, 2025. Born on August 6, 1955 in Yonkers, NY; and grew up in Shrub Oak, NY. Eileen was the daughter of the late James Byrne and Edythe Burpoe Byrne.
Eileen graduated from NYU with a doctorate in business and worked for IBM and Delotte as a contract manager. She was very involved in helping minority businesses.
Eileen was preceded in death by her brother Jim and her father James and mother Edythe.
Eileen is survived by her husband Robert Halczyn; her son Stephen Halczyn and daughter in law Breanna, and her granddaughter Sophie.
The family is grateful to VITAS healthcare for the help they gave her in her final days.
