Dennis E Jackson

Dennis E. Jackson, age 83, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on August 22, 1942, in Hammond, Indiana, Dennis was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life reflected steady strength, faithful service, and deep love for those closest to him. He resided in Panama City, Florida.

Dennis proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps—“Semper Fi” for life. He also served as a Shriner and Scottish Right Member for over 9 years, commitments that spoke to his sense of brotherhood, duty, and community.

Dennis was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Judith “Orell” Jackson. He was also preceded in death by his father, Othel Kenneth “OK” Jackson; his mother, Harriott Jackson; and his brother, Kenneth Jackson.

He leaves behind his children, Dennis (Natalie) and Kim (Robert); grandchildren, Shelby (Josh) and Hunter (Jenna) and Sydnee; great-grandchildren, Remington, Jackson Grady “JG”, Ainsley, and Ryleigh; his sister, Penny (Richard); and many nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved.

Dennis was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son, son-in-law, grandson, and many friends. He took his last harvest in October 2025, marked by an unbelievable shot—one more memory added to the stories and laughter shared at the hunting camp.

Dennis will be remembered for his love of his family, his giving heart, and the everlasting memories made at the hunting camp. Forever cherished, we will always love you—dad, paps, and granddaddy.
