David Andrew Pugh

Dave was born on January 21, 1956, in the district of Haverford, Wales. He spent much of his earlier life involved in horse racing, working as an exercise rider and jockey. It was through racing that he met his wife, Penelope Pugh. Together they shared a passion for horses and became a racing team, building a life around the sport they both loved.

Dave was known for his sense of humor, his love of animals, and the stories and memories he shared with those around him. He especially loved his former dog, Blaze, who remained close to his heart over the years.

He resided in Bon Secour, Alabama, with his wife, Penelope Pugh, a retired nurse. They resided with his stepdaughter Kimberly Nicole and husband Shawn Slattery.

Dave is also survived by his daughter, Patricia Anne Pugh; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, along with extended family and friends who will remember him fondly.

He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
