She was born on August 7, 1956 in Washington D.C. and raised in DC. She then graduated from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
Cynthia was actively involved in her small business Blue Moon Stones for many years, before retiring to spend her time with friends, family, and her pets.
She is preceded in death by her mother Fangette Willett, father Edward Burka, stepfather Thomas Willett, brother Devon Willett, and many beloved pets.
She is survived by her only child, daughter Kathryn Enig, her son-in-law, Richard Garrison, her grandchildren Xavier Overstreet, Gabriel Overstreet, Jace Overstreet, and Abigail Overstreet, her sister, Mikki Willett Aaronson, her brother, Jason Willett, and her nieces Adina Harris and Eliana Cherki, and her ex-husband Daniel Enig.
Cindy had a fierce love for her cats, especially her cat Dobin who had spent over 20 years faithfully by her side. She loved her grandchildren with all of her heart, and was the Matriarch of our family. Her wisdom, sense of humor, love of music, and passion for cooking will never be forgotten. She will forever be deeply missed.
The family would like to thank The Neptune Society as well as the amazing nurses in the ICU at Okaloosa Medical Center for the care and compassion they showed our beloved Cynthia during her final days.
Instead of a memorial service, we ask that you celebrate Cindy at a time and place of your choosing. Light a candle, play some Beatles music, and remember her fondly. Share memories with one another, laugh over her shenanigans, and never let her memory fade away ❤️
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her honor... One that really needs the help.
